Individual experiences of physical space are the main topic of the workshop Parallel Worlds – and where did you go? for children and young adults, offered by Kerstin Ergenzinger and Daniel Burkhardt on January 28th and 29th, 2012, from 11:00–16:00 on the 2nd floor of the Dortmunder U. The participants (aged between 9 and 12) will explore selected locations in the Dortmunder U and its surrounding areas making use of different media. They will record their impressions, share them with each other, and reconstruct the locations they visited artistically.
Cologne based media artist Daniel Burkhardt has been awarded in 2010 with the arts prize of Dortmunder Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH for his installation spalten.
