The installation bit.fall transforms cascading water into language and text: Words appear on a curtain of waterdrops as if by magic. They are only readable for the fraction of a second and dissolve during their fall. The words are filtered from the internet in real time by an algorithm and visualize for a brief moment what is happening around us in the digital world.
In this two-day workshop we produce our own fandubs and re-synchronise film and video characters with our own voice!

HUMAN BROWSER is a search engine in human
form. Via a headset the performer receives search results in real time.
S/he shares these results with the bystanding visitors by announcing
them loudly. The speech flow is confusing but makes reference to the
context time and again. An irritating, surprising and quite amusing
encounter!

The
only feature film by John Cage, One11
and 103
is based on the effects of light in an empty room. Directed by
Henning Lohner, it was completed shortly before the composer’s
death in 1992.
It
only takes 40 minutes
of your time to activate and take part in this performance. Created
by Jens Heitjohann to be part of the exhibition Sounds
Like Silence,
it takes participants on an aural journey through the cityscape.
During
the exhibition, families with children can pick up a paper
chase flyer from the main desk which lets our younger visitors
discover the artists and their works in the exhibition in a playful
manner.
