Daniela Ihrig

Project Manager

Daniela Ihrig (b. 1986) studied art history and German philology at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and art history and technology at the Technische Universität in Berlin. Internships and her first small jobs at the Internationales Videofestival in Bochum, in Situation Kunst (für Max Imdahl) in Bochum, and at the Hamburger Bahnhof—Museum für Gegenwart in Berlin piqued her interest in working for cultural institutions.

After completing her master’s degree, she completed a traineeship as a researcher at the Museum Ostwall (MO) in the Dortmunder U. There she had her first experiences in exhibition planning and project management. Then she worked as a curatorial assistance for the MO exhibition project Dieter Roth: Schöne Scheiße; Dilettantische Meisterwerke (Shit Sublime. The Imperfect Masterpieces) and is coeditor of the eponymous catalog.
