After negative campaign: The HMKV ends cooperation with outdoor advertising provider Ströer.

The HMKV Hartware MedienKunstVerein has ended its long-standing cooperation with outdoor advertising provider Ströer. The reason for this is a negative poster campaign, which is currently on display under the slogan "GrünerMist" on the companny's large-scale advertising spaces and which, in the view of the HMKV, represents a defamation of democratic processes and players.

Due to the demonstrated business practices, which promote anti-democratic agendas, the management of the HMKV does not view Ströer as a suitable partner for further cooperation. The HMKV, being one of the first signatories of the initiative DIE VIELEN, has also informed its partners and other cultural institutions about this step.

In an open letter, the management of HMKV addressed the company today.
